I hide the low odds horse and look for one to place and the payoff could be awesome. I had one on Churchill in real life that paid $14 to place while the winner only paid 2.60. When you bet 2 horses to win, you can only win on 1 horse but when you bet on 2 horses to place you can win on both of them.
