FWIW, while the issue of WHY this occurs in RDSS V0.99.2 on Windows 7 64 bit is still unknown, the original poster of this problem has reported that on the same computer, same Win7 64 bit, this is no longer a problem when using RDSS 2.0 (Beta 1).

I presume that the underlying platform I used to develop the V 2.0 software is more friendly (somehow

) to Win7 64 bit.

At least, a happy outcome.
