The Match Up was created for "WIn " wagering. Jimmy has stated on many occasions, that when doing the Match up to get the winner, the place horse is eliminated. The Match Up is primarily used to select the "WIN" horse.

Jimmy has also stated, he doesn't play exactas or trifectas.

The reason I started this subject was becouse I thought the Hats Matchup was the end of the road to success at the track.I like many here have bought more than 1 program, it just seems like for some reason we ( maybe just me ) are always in need of finding something more to push ourselves over that magical threshold which seperates winning from lossing.How many more books, programs does it take?
If you can hit 40 or 50 % winners , who needs to hit exactas or tris etc.
