You are proving what I've been saying for years.
This in my opinion and from what I was taught in Las Vegas is the professional way. The biggest drawback which can and will happen are the protracted run-outs. If you have the patience, discipline and bankroll to support this way of playing, you could be well on your way.
Bet one horse at the proper odds cut-off.
