Hey figured to clarify call the track!
got on the phone with Jim Goodman who is simulcasting operations manager. Turns out he is on a cell phone ON the track itself looking it over
told me the following
1) the track is in great shape
2) the horses are definitely safer on it
3) it's freaking cold as heck there right now
talked to him for a while. he went to his office and said this is the deal
1) first place - $3,000.00 cash PLUS an entry into any qualifier for the year end tourney. they pay up to $500.00 entry fee PLUS $400.00 in travel money.
2) 2nd place - $1,200.00 cash PLUS the same deal as stated above regarding qualifier and money available
3) 3rd place - $600.00 cash
4) 4th place - $300.00 cash
5) 5th place - $240.00 cash
6) 6th through 10th places - get nice gift from Keeneland. Last year was nice Logoed jacket man.
In ADDITION there will be daily prizes from the gift shop to daily highest total winners..
Thanx to Keeneland racetrack and Jim Goodman for helping us out here! This guy is VERY cool and LOVES horses.
