question for Ted
 

when did you change new pace from the first way it looked to the way it looks today? and why? also in setting up my 2 screen set up for picking my pace lines on the second screen is there a way to make the screen show the adjusted sr numbers WITHOUT going to the orinagal screen AND THEN to the adjusted screen, not a big deal but it would save me a second or to.

You don't have to use the original and the to the adjusted screen any of the screens and then to adjusted sr and I can see the sr numbers. The program has a wonderful look to it so much information, one of the things I like the most is click anywhere on the line you would like to pick. great!

Here's the PP Panel layout I tend to favour. As you mentioned, you can now see the Adjusted SR practically everywhere. I like to see Original data on top, and Primary underneath, of course I also check Trips, Works, pretty much everything when I need to. And I've simplified my layouts of each Panel to remove redundant Tabs and those I don't use much right now.

KC, I had wanted to show the SR range values more clearly since the beginning, and got it done about 2 weeks ago. I think the size of the bars gives a much clearer picture who's best is struggling to approach who else' mid or low-range. Or how many are bunched up and how close tied for top end SR range. Or who has a very narrow range and who a very wide range. The only other thing I'd like to add right now is some way to know where in a horse's career each hi and low SR point came from, and from what kind of race (dist, surf, race type) - without cluttering the screen. That way, if you dare, you can second-guess, or down/up-grade some horse's rankings.

I was using the way Bill showed me it's a very good way for people who still have a hard time with pace lines. Your way looks much better and i will try it today on my rework lad, and dmr. I like the idea of the high and low race too.

The NewPace video comes from Dave Schwartz, not from me or PaceandCap. Following the email he sent you confirming your purchase yesterday, he will also have sent you another email with links to download the video or his NewPace product from his website.

If you can't find that email and thus the links to get the video Dave made (which video IS essentially the NewPace product), just contact Dave at DaveSchwReno@GMail.com

As for using it in RDSS2 - that's what this Forum is all about (though there is not much new here for a while). You can check other posts at P&C about NewPace by searching for them with the Google Site Search Tool on the website menubar. RDSS2 implements the calculations in the original NewPace video, using either the TrackMaster Speed Ratings, or the Adjusted Speed Ratings calculated internally by RDSS.

NewPace numbers show up, in detail, on the NewPace Tab, and in ranked summary form on the BLBL screen and the Entries screen.
