Who's the best horse in the race? Unquestionably it's #2 Unrivaled Belle. However, she hasn't raced in over four months, hasn't won once off the three layoffs showing and is listed at 9/5 on the Morning Line. To me this spells v-u-l-n-e-r-a-b-l-e and is a horse I'll bet against.

Do these types ever win? Of course they do, but as Harvey Pact often said, "Never bet a favorite if you're asking him to do something he's never done before." In this case it's win off a layoff.

If she wins, more power to her, but I'm taking a shot on #1 at Persuading at 6-1. As far as I'm concerned that's a huge overlay.
