Friday

So, I hit the 1st exacta at BEL and had the winner of the 2nd at CRC (how'd he ever go up to 4:1?). Figured I'd come over here and see if I could get my luck to change.

WO R3:

The 5 and the 6 are the horses to beat. But I think there are three longshots that have a very good chance: 7, 11, and 12.

ebox: 7 / 11 / 12

for a chance at some real money

Woodbine T-bred - Race 3
# Win Place Show
6 $4.10 $3.20 $2.60
12 . $24.60 $12.10
4 . . $4.30

Wager Type Winning Numbers Paid
$2.00 Exacta 6-12 $97.60

I suppose another way to have played this is to take the three longshots under the chalk. Of course, I don't play many combos and even though it worked in this case, it might not be a good idea in the longterm.

The problem was that all three of my longshots had good 'angels'. Of course, the 12 had a very strong FIGHTER race two back.

Plenty of chances like this at WO.
