If I were you and that is the Key we need you to find what works for YOU.

I Know what works for me but I pick lines totally different than you so it
might be best if you do what makes you most comfortable

What I do is.

First look at the Engen and check the esp styles for lone earlys
Next I look at the Par med readout write down the number of the winner and place horses get in this factor. Its good for contender eliminating as you do more races

Next always auto project

Next look at the 3 adjust and right down the adjustment numbers.
I put this next to the horses name on my work sheet
This gives me a parameter of what adjustments are acceptable
I have been doing this step for 23 races biut have been glanceing at the figure for years
So far now winners have a number higher than 1.42 and lower than -0.35

Next right down the Ave Total Energy Med and 3rd fraction
This will help your model work

Separate your races by track distance and Hi Low Ave races

I look only at the D/vc sort screen. At first
I suggest doing the actually tally of the rankings with pen and paper
rather than just going to the composite screen.
I have a little work sheet were I can see the rankings
and save then for visual pattern recognition later
The actual looking and filling in the numbers is a
great way to feel the match up of this race

I bet the two lowest total from the sort or maybe the 3rd if it has a
good rating in a factor at a distance or match up senerio
If the 3rd lowest horse is over 5/1 I bet it with at separate bank usually w/p
