David, The article made me think about my self
For years I have been the type that had to do my wagercapping
From the same seat I had to drive to the track the same way
I had to stop for breakfast at the same place
after each winning day I went to the same supermarket, to the same
foods ect.

I see the importance of getting the mind into the work ahead
I wish I could fatten my bankroll by getting back
fun, action bets, and bets on tips from people in line
If I could aways get to the proper mind when I bet things would be much better

I've known Ray since the early 90s. We always used to see each other every year at the World Series of Poker. But I didn't go for about six or seven years, and he stayed away for awhile as well.

The guy is a phenomenon. New Jersey born, he moved out west at a young age--made a lot of money playing poker and then bought a lot of real estate and retired in Montana.

Ray is a very interesting fellow. He's funny, articulate and knowledgeable.

I know what you mean about getting in a rut. Although sometimes it's nice to have the comfort of familiarity; it can make you feel secure and you're more relaxed and able to concentrate better without the stress of the unknown.

Turbulator, that's tres cool. I've never met Ray. I went there for the World Championships every year for about seven years starting in the late 70's. Chip Reese was a friend of mine. Man, I bet we could tell some stories!
