Santa Anita

Race 3 is at 6.5f on the polytrack. In a race without an apparent pacesetter
#1 Lord Albion closes powerfully when right. Drops below claiming tag for todays
race. 10 year old is getting on in years but appears to have found a race.

#1 Lord Albion at 4/1 morning line.

Race 5 is at 6f on the polytrack. #6 Cactus Lightning goes first time off claim and bumps up in class to 16k. Handled the track in a sharp race 2 back at 7 panels.

#6 Cactus Lightning at 6/1 morning line

Race 7 is at 6.5f on the polytrack. #8 Paul's Hope goes first time for Hollendorfer. Very sharp presser right now seeks third win in a row.

#8 Paul's Hope at 7/2 morning line

While Lord Albions' last race didn't come back (wasn't favorable to closers) the horse that was immediately ahead of him early (next to last) passed 5 horses the last 1/8th-- one of which ran evenly. Lord Albion passed a single horse --- the last place finisher.

While the class drop might help, I wouldn't touch him today.

I appreciate the feedback tfm. I just got in from the office and see he got beat a neck at 5/1. He ran a good one today and just came up a whisker short

That was a good pick on your part. I've been following this guy since that good race 3 back. He got a nice ride today by the Mig but just couldn't get it done. The wide trip didn't help, either.

Good job.

Runs 2nd at 6/1.

3 picks.3 seconds. No good when one is betting win
