First programming language completely different as I had a Commodore 64, and without differing platforms (i.e Windows 3.1 98 2000 Hp etc,) one rarely can go to the next without a complete re-write. It is akin to trying to type a letter in Russian on an English typewriter.

You would have to dis-assemble the Commodore code and determine the algorithms and then rewrite from scratch. Wouldn't these programs have already been ported to dos at some point? If you really want it done and no copyright laws would be broken, try contacting Ruud from the Netherlands. He might be able to help or point you in the right direction.

Commodore used a little different take on the basic assembler language.

If you could run the program - anyone still have a C64? - you could print out a list of the code. I might have a print out of Contenderscan........50/50 shot. I will look through my old files inthe basement.

Thanks Tom,
---but don't go out of your way!!!

I moved recently and found the old commodore files lying around!!!

---I must be bored or in a long losing streak, looking for a new answer from the old days!!!

Thanks anyway though,

Mike
