Bill I also lost race 6
I am very pissed at being adjusted right out of this race
I ran this race over just using the raw time of 123.0
for line four for the winner I sickens me to see the BS
the adjusting programs give this horse
To me the race shows the horses true ability
why did they adjust it to such a crazy number
Race goes off. This $7500 claimer runs a competive race
wins and pays a reasonable $7.40 final time for a fast track
at Philly 123.4? Just very slightly slower than the raw time from
LRL but if you use adjusted times the line looks way out of range for the
race I re did the race the way Doc told me to in Energy and The 3 is a easy bet and win
Just very upset to lose races because someone at TM came up with a wild number

Bill,Now I see why Doc was reluctant to go with downloading for all of that time.

Jeff & Bill,

Doc spent over a year with Ellis Starr at Trackmaster getting his formulas to jive with the incoming data feed from the downloads.

ok on 2/1/06 we get hit with the big " double dose" changes in speed rating scale plus the variant scale.

For ME the elimination of "pattern looks" as far as the speed ratings on the paceline screen messed me up to the point of no return. I didn't say the winners all of a sudden disappeared. For reasons having to do exclusively with my MENTAL focus I was NOT keystroking in the lines for the winning horses a LOT of the time. **** just didn't "look" right in my MIND and I failed to enter winning horses in the software time after time after time.

Eric Penicka also told me on the phone that he never suffered any noticable decline in his profits because he simply adjusted his mind to the new larger swings in the ratings.

Amazing. MY focus has to be on the MENTAL side of what I do. that's the difference between success and failure to ME.

I think it might be interesting to compare Validator with Validator M using the same pacelines.Jeff

how bout a comparison of 2 validator3's using the same Trackmaster download Jeff?

Here are 2 sets of bl/bl tier readouts for the race WINNER over 3 consecutive days at Belmont this weekend.

one column is val3c as it exists now witht he changed rating and variant tables. the other set is things put back to where they were before 2/1/06 changes that I have been testing ok?

care to guess which is which?

btw these readouts were emailed to 2 people. one got them BEFORE a race ran. the 2nd after.

which is which???

remember the numbers show WINNERS bl/bl tier. just look across for the matching "other" bl/bl read on the SAME race.

Code:

  val?      val?
 3          1
 1          2
 2          2
 4          4
 1          2
 4          4
 4          5
 1          2
 3          2
 2          3
 1          1
 5          3
 1          1
 4          out
 2          2
 1          1
 4          4

I have no clue at all.The reason I mentioned Val M & VAL 3 is because one would be raw data and the other adjusted from TM.Jeff
