Race 1 today 6.5 NW1x al

The 3 is my # 1 EP/dv horse
and is also my lone early
but a weak 3rd fraction tells me follow the readouts
I see the 6 and 1 as win bets

hope they run as its wet at big sandy

I've got the 6 and 8 tied on EP using the second line back for each. I'm likely to go light today, but a 10/1 ML horse as the 8 is does get my interest.

The second race has a bunch of shippers, that disturbs me but I may go for the 3 if the odds are right as the horse is a good off-tracker with nice EP figs and who does have NYC experience.

Thanks Mike, I've been lurking and spot playing. The cards at Belmont haven't been to my liking of late, and the weather isn't helping any. I've made only 16 wagers since the meet started, winning with only four of them, but the average mutuel is $13.70.

I had three out of my first five wagers and then had a ten race losing streak that was shaking my confidence. Then I hit a 10/1 shot and my bankroll is back to where it was before the streak.

Wouldn't you expect a #1EP and "lone early" to have a weaker 3rd fraction than its' counterparts, the sustained pressers and sustained horses in the race?
