I'll be out looking at the beautiful autumn today near Huntsville Ontario so I'm posting early.
I see the 1,3, and 7 looking for the lead here. The 7 is the FPLR off a turf race. The 6 is a contender off some fast fractions. The 2 will be too far back. These are the players. The others are non-contenders. 1: Has been loose at MTH in 22.0 but that is an exception. If she has to fight, she's in trouble. OUT. 3: Solid break positions except for the last 2 before the layoff. Race 2 back hints at a possible off the pace effort. Contender. 7: Won't get the lead here. Ran 22.3 fighting at MTH. But, no other time in the lead. OUT 6: Ran well against a 21.3 two back but no other race shows that kind of fraction. Races are slow. My choice is the 3 to win the race. See you at Woodbine tomorrow. |

I don't think I will be around for odds and scratches. I saw this race in a similar way to Capcondo except I have 1,3, and 8 as earlies of which I think 1 may be the dominant one. However if the pace collapses I do like that FPLR from the 7 where she shows she can pass a horse with a good power move even though it was on turf. She has won on dirt more than once. 1,7 WIN Tim you might want to look up Ted. He lives in Huntsville when he is home. I will see you tomorrow at Woodbine. Pook |

this race looks loaded with speed. thus, I am projecting this race to be ote. I am settling on the #2 horse.

No Scratches - good pick Pook
Pace: 22.7 - 45.6 Contenders: 3-6-7 1 - pace duel out 2 - slow out 3 - contender - distance may be too short - will press pace 4 - move up in class - out 5 - drop down - not competitive out 6 - contender - will press pace 7 - contender - hope he does not get involve in the pace and sit 2-3 lengths back 8 - pace duel out 9 - slow out Win 7-6 Place 7 |
I agree. Lots of early speed. Should run OTE. The #6 should be close up and can win from just off the early speed against a fast pace.
