With a 22.7/45.6/110.8 from the 2, I have the 2 surviving of the Earlies. The 5 which can be an Early will be relegated to an up close OTE. My other OTE's are 4 and 10.
So I am at 2,4,5,10.

Will await scratches and odds.

against that pace I am left with the 2,5,9,10.

I think that the 2 and the 9 will compromise each other. The 5 will sit just off the pace with the 10 further back. Both horses like it wet, so I will use those two horses as my picks.

I am calling this race OTE.

This race has several earlies, 2, 5, 9. The 2 is the quickest of these and should get the lead from the inside and be pushed by the others.

The 10 is the best late horse and has already beaten several of these others in similar contests.

Sorry I am late been in and out of the hospital, but let me see If I can make a play here.

9 Cerro Trainer switch, but not sure about how well he will do today
4 Eighty Three Could pull this off today
6 Life in Shambles ( kinda like me right now, lol) Even with Irad, not sure
10 Nubin Ridge Drops down for graded stakes and can easily take this


Longshot play here would be the 1 horse, include in all exotics

gonna play my trucker picks 10-4

if late scratch add 6 to the win spot

Is this enough for making a play today, I must run now, sorry I been missing it.

My selections: #10 and #4 for the same reasons given above: the balance of Early Speed sets the race up for a non-Early. Plus #10 sits cleanly on top of the BL Line and #4 is a very consistent visually Late runner PLUS Top Class Rating and very well held in its recent public odds.

One of my least favorite races. Routers mixed with sprinters and nobody has much 7 furlong winning experience , plus the muddy track, I have to pass.

Mike picked a good race to break the chalk fest, but nothing would shock me
with the outcome here,
