Tomorrow @ GP - race #1

I don't play MC as a rule but I always take a peek to see if anything interests me.

See the 7 horse in the attached pic. Something doesn't seem right in its line placement and the adjusted speed ratings seem off.

What do you make of this Ted?

Hi Terry

I have always avoided mixing 7.5 turf lines with route turf lines.
Parx runs some 7.5 turf races but I usually wait till I can use a 7.5 line for all the horses
( I don't get many chances )
I think the DTV and ITV and the fact that RDSS thinks 7.5 is a sprint distance
which it adjusts to a route, and the fact that all of horse 7's other races seem to come from high DTV adjustments yet the line you used gets a 0 DTV,all adds up to a funky speed rating Hope Ted can shed more information, but I see similar wild 7.5 races at Parx

FWIW I like the 7.5 line choice Segs, although I would still refer to last line for certain considerations, even if it weren't best of...

line 4

Hi Appy

I would agree with you. Line 4, the 7.5 line is not a very good line.
At no point was the horse competitive. If I had to use a line and since line 1 is suspect I would go to the comparable line 4. Since its still a big drop in class maybe it has a shot
But a horse with so many zero lines is not very encouraging.
we will see :0

I would likely be trying to look past this horse, although I saw a race conditioned the other day ( I think at Tup) that made my jaw drop. It was for horses who had not placed 1,2,or 3 for meet duration.
This horse might have fit real well there! :)
