Preakness Marathon

Not much changes from the Derby except for the new runners. The off track in the Derby precludes using that race (too slow), so we are left with what the horses did prior to the Derby.

The best horse, if he does not get into trouble is once again, Always Dreaming

He was on the lead at the mile in Fla Derby in 134.94 running 2-2-1 to the stretch call; last 3 furlongs in 36.42 (3rd best, but it was on the lead, note)

Conquest Mo Money ran two good races in a row pre Derby and the $200,000 supplemental fee was too much to handle ( I can relate)

In Arkansas he ran against a 136.43 running 1-1-1 to the stretch with last 3 furlongs in 37.77 and in the Sunland Derby ran against 135.71, running 7-2-2, closing in 38.43 so in Arkansas he improved in a slightly slower race

Classic Empire showed how fragile racing is by getting into multiple troubles in Derby, has run 7-6-3 off of a 136.43 mile, closing in 37.42

Multiplier from hawthorne. One of the fastest 9 furlong times that I have ever seen from hawthorne. He ran 5-5-2 to the mile call (gaining lengths from 6.0-3.0-1.50 while doing so) against a 135.57 mile time and closed in 36.29!

Conquest and Multiplier are 15/1 in the ML. I will box all 4 in several exotics and hope for the best.

Good skill to you all,
