RDSS as Primary Handicapping Tool?

Here is a Poll being conducted at PaceAdvantage.com on their members' primary handicapping tool, and the Poll originator (JimG) has thoughtfully included RDSS as an option (also an option for older Sartin software).

If you are a member of PaceAdvantage.com and would like to respond to the poll about what is your primary handicapping tool, here is that link:

I know that a number of RDSS users use it as a secondary or complementary tool and, if interested, folks should certainly cast a vote for their primary tool, whatever it is.

I'm kind of curious to know what is the relative usage of RDSS, compared to the other major software tools out there. The poll appears to be anonymous, though you do have to be a member of PaceAdvantage.com

I voted. I see that you have a nice piece of the pie so far, coming in second (now that I voted) only to homegrown software.

That makes you number one among available products.

Gotta get some more P&C folks over there, you're only 2 votes behind and 1 vote ahead of the next (BRIS).

Thanks Charles! However, I don't see it as a contest - I was actually mostly curious what the relative use of tools was among serious folks. Though I also understand that it's a pretty unscientific poll - any number of software users may or may not check in to PA, and any of the other great tools' users may or may not choose to vote. I'm pretty sure that more than half of RDSS users don't look at PA (a fair number don't even look at Pace and Cap for that matter!)

I do confess to a bit of marketing self-interest, though... ;)

And well you should, with a large dollop of pride thrown in to boot ( a-boot?, whatever)

Exactly, the number of users are less important than the number of people who are using it to good effect. But any good showing can only stir curiosity.

Otherwise, a hatpin or Ouija board would probably win out if the choice was there. :)
