I try to cut down the cost by making smaller nonbox tickets.
In the long run, this has proven to work better and saves me $$.
I still am building back up my bankroll

Today I lost, The pick 3 paid $64
for 8-2-2
My tickets cost $17

I did not use the 8 as my first leg pick
even though it was my #1 rated horse

Bill, I noticed that yesterday and wondered whether you had simply typed in the wrong number. The 8 in the first leg had a ML of 9-2 and went off at 5-2 so the odds prospects weren’t too bad. It was your #1 rated horse and you didn’t have it on any ticket. You must have had your reasons but I couldn’t understand why.
