The instruction manual says narrow the contenders down to 4...What if I put down all the horses I think are contenders...
1 Gavin -line 2
2 Professor -line 1
3 Legal - line 1
4 Slick -line 2
6 Z Sup - line 2
7 Bobcat - line 2

Energy/Thoromation sorts them out...

I did not bet the exacta or trifecta.I just found this out about this when I had time to kill in the racebook here in Vegas.Playing around with the program.

Hi Ray
I got home from work, saw your post, didnt know the result, worked the race.

OTE against a 23.1 / 46.3 (#1 line 2) proj pace the screen shots are what I saw. OTE runners are the 2 and 5 clearly BUT my bet for win would be the #5 as he is closest to the pace looking at the 1st call reads. Thats my horse, live and die by the sword and I do NOT bet place or exactas :):)

LOSS

Hi Richie,
My original contenders were #2- line 1...#3-line 1...#4--line 2...#7-line 2
I have always been consistent on my contenders, just using the top 4 on Total Energy
I used #2 Alt Adjustment and came out with same top horse,#2...

I was just curious on what if I put all the contenders? In this race, the same horse came out on top...I was also curious if I put all the horses, and see what happens...I do not recommend this procedure in every race though.

I still believe in just putting my top 4 contenders because I am a straight win bettor.
