Hi Richie,

Nice work. I'm glad to see people here getting involved in the Pick-6, since these are well within the range of the Methodology, especially at CA tracks, and especially at DMR. I would have posted, but there seemed to be no interest here.

I had 4/6 on a $144 ticket, blowing the 8th and the 10th races, coming up with readouts similar to your own. I knew that that #3 in the 8th was live, but thought I was covered with the 2,6,10. And I thought the 10th was a lock with the 4,8. As usual, for me in these situations, the missed winners were young, lightly raced horses.

I hope this encourages other Methodology used to think about playing these large carryovers.

Cheers,

B Jennet

Well, I wasn't going to post as it was after the fact, but I played that Delmar pick 6 yesterday, although not on as grand a scale as you, B. Jennet. I too lost the 8th, using the 2,6 and the 10th with the 4,8.
That was the first time I'd done such a thing and although I didn't think I'd win, it was quite a rush to win the first three in a row, the 5th with the 6,7 played, the 6th with the 9 and the 7th with the 1. The 9th I had the 2 and the 8.

deep

I watched with great interest I got home too late to join in
but I too had the 3 races that Richie had right on top
But the 8th and 10th did me in too
however I think the power of the Methodology
shines when the winner was in the final reads on all 6 races
well 5 ! as race 5 was a non methodology affair

Good work Rich Barb and BJennet

why was the 5th at Dmr (9.4.10) a "non methodology affair"?

My Mistake I meant race 6 was the non methodology affair
Basic Doc guidelines. Pass races with more than 2 First Time Starters

The 2 3 5 6 8 and 10 all were FTS

Had to smile when the favorite won

Doc says on his video that he was challenged to a bet
that he could always win over 33%of all races

Any race like this when he had to bet when challanged
He said he would just bet the favorite. He figured he'd win about 33%
of the time just like the public

A viable option

Hi Barb,

Nice to see you jump into this - looks like you, Bill, Richie and I were thinking alike. I never play this bet without a carryover, but I think under this condition, its a very viable option for Methodology players.

Cheers,

B Jennet
