"A" angle - In the money 2 races back and that race is run no more than around 45 days ago. Last race out of money finish giving a conditioning race that sets up todays effort. "FDK" - FDK (Form Darkening) is a LR type combination angle. Performance Side: A more or less "evenly run" race whereby 1C BL <= 2C BL, 2C.BL >= 5, and loss of ground in the stretch < 6.25, but nominal gains in the stretch are permissible. Trainer Maneuver Side: Best when TR DIST > LR DIST. "BTW" - by the way BIG thanks to Pino and Ray Taulbot for the angle info. :) |
Hi guys..
very nice info Pino!! with a few simple rules you got a 35+% roi!! worst part is that this was discussed here a few times and I knew about it and didn't follow-up  mike |
Thanks
Hi RichieP,

lets not forget what Ray said to his students during his private lessons:
"Some racing fans assume that every horse in the field should be credited with every angle which may apper in its chart. This is a mistaken idea, for an angle has little or no value in most instances unless the horse is sharp and owns sufficient pace ability to cope effectively with its field. Therefore the angles and their respective values apply only to horses that come up as the final pace contenders in a given race". |
M57,
how are you....I hope you're doing fine....anyway: The "V" angle was created for the ATM, but the real angle for the students was the "M" angle which has two version, the Long and the Short version. |
