Those are the only lines that would make this OBVIOUSLY injured and recuperated horse a contender........Only a few works...this one is telling you damaged GOODS Smarty Nicole....wow that is far fetched.

Jockey on the 4 was terrible when in so cal, terrible still in philly, don't care what his wining % is.

They all throw in a clinker. Often saw McCarron, as good as he was, go to sleep. Worst was in Alysheba's Belmont as Pincay suckered him into going around him (on Crytoclearance) in order to catch Bet Twice who was really long gone, JUST about the time he took off so it was a wasted effort. Heard that good one died this week too.

Another time, though it was not his fault, he caught the whip in the horse's tail to his inside and after fighting it, threw it away. The distraction cost him in a blanket turf photo.

Rarely saw the masters: Shoe Bailey or Laffit make big errors.

philly 2nd NOT a good betting race as these are not quick learners; :2: has gone off the boil so :7: might take up the slack here, NOT a good race

:6: has been a good student in two races has "learned" how to race a bit, only a bit however

I am trying to clean up, vacuum and dust and cap all at the same time, YUP that is the one.

I have become a domestic since I only work on the weekends

4 or 7 could be out front for awhile but they don't seem to have a big edge on the others. SIX at -16 e/l might me a bit too far out of it. and comment line says "passed faders."

Good Skill today I hope to catch a few races later in the card

I LOVE PHILADELPHIA PARK...one of my all time favorites...Like I said I wish I could play it everyday but I only get it Monday/Tuesday

Is a great place to bet Tim... a great 'wakeup' track, and if one can financially and psycologically endure stretches of losing races, the rewards to those that persevere can be wonderful.

For years.... happens very frequently, horses that run horribly as a favorite come back to pay $15, $17 dollars, prices like that.

My friend was the long-time handicapping for the Philadelphia Inquirer...he'd make a horse best bet, and that steed would be 7-5 or so, often less. If they got beat, many times would win next out and pay 4-1. He was very influencial and a top handicapper, so when his picks lost, for some reason the crowd would abandon those horse next out.

Does anyone know if Philly Park is taking Will Rogers Downs?

At the phone bet web site, the track isn't listed today.

interesting photo finish shot: the favorite has a ski on its foreleg. When a horse has a leg coming backwards that is right in alignment with the photo scan of the race, it stays IN the frame during the photo and is elongated to look like a ski.

Funny artifact. Had a strange one the other night when the lights just happened to hit a buckle on the harness equipment and shined back a "flash" in the photos. We had to blow it up 350% to figure out what it was.

PHL 6th. Why would the 8, who just won for 25clm come back for 12.5clm? thoughts:
- something is wrong with the horse
- connections made some cash and want to get rid of the horse

lets throw him out..and go with the 3 & 7

going backwards BIG TIME, only slow breezing works in New York......at BEST this one can only muster 4th best 2nd call. TOO SLOW as well.
