Valentine's Day and he said the course was frozen. Fields are huge and distances from 2 to 4 miles.....Interesting wagering opportunities too tote-eachway (win and place bet on the same horse), tote swinger (pick 2 horses to finish in top three, totepalcepot (pick a place horse in the first six races), toequadpot (pick a placed horse in the first four races),tote jackpot, totesuper 7, totelscoop 6

That is the way to attract sucker money!

I'll make a mental bet on the 1, but the first and second races look terrible. But then, 7,500 is as low as we go here, so that's to be expected.

Tim Y 02-27-2009 12:21 PM

Canadian Turf Handicap tomorrow either 8 Just as Well or 9 Twilight Meteor

I have found that when a trackman's comment is all out or fully extened (as the one here) they bounce next out if they are the filly type.

JLG 02-27-2009 12:25 PM

Gonna save the win bet on the 1 in 1st at AQU, and put it towards a 1/2,6 DD

Tim Y 02-27-2009 12:25 PM

:4: :7: could easily outbreak the big favorite and 5 and 8 underneath late late late

This could be interesting as at this level they rarely run three in a row

Charlie D 02-27-2009 12:27 PM

Fixed odds betting over here via books and exchanges and thats how most bet

Tim Y 02-27-2009 12:33 PM

no money worth the wait

Do you know a bookie Colin Bagley? He is usually in the North near his home base at Grimsby England.
Goes to Doncaster, and the big meets at Newmarket Cheletanham, Ascot, Aintree

works for the Racing Post and is going to Dubai next month to over the big ones there again this year

You're right. I used to go through the charts looking at the full comment wording, and while what you cited usually did turn up negative results, "willingly" or "handily" were quite the opposite.

Charlie D 02-27-2009 12:44 PM

Communicate in ENGLISH so people understand what the hell you MIGHT be trying to say. Abbreviations don't cut it unless they are universal like PTA or ZIP code.

Fade? like color, fade to black on the tube, a way of showing power point?

Woof your communication skills are wanting

Second race

Another pass, although the 7 came home a winner at his only race at this level. The 5 looks too tough.

are you one of the ones always saying BEWARE of lines from the Meadowlands? The horse just runs and can't read the condition book

Tri was healthy and gettable

Methinks I understand the WORD, the context, if there ever was one, makes no sense

JLG 02-27-2009 01:13 PM

AQU 3. hard to take a 1/5 shot who has never routed before. Anyone else like the 1 or 2?

Charlie D 02-27-2009 01:15 PM

Or you could use this

to lose freshness or strength; wither; wane

wither - to weaken; languish

wane- to decline in power

Now cut out the BS arsehole

on that track, speed stretches out better than most other than FE or PHA

an easy maiden winner, especially one on the lead the entire trip, presents a problem in never knowing how much MORE pressure it can handle. Why would a rider force a horse, particularly a baby, to go any faster than necessary to win? That baby, although not showing it in that race, MIGHT have lots in the tank although parimutually the 1 2 are much better choices

what it has ON ITS SIDE is one of the higher e/l's in the race
you have no idea how much more it has and ran against MUCH MUCH easier last out

No, I have no problem with Meadowlands transferring to the IDT. The winner of the second landed in my top three, but I just couldn't invest in the race at all.

The 1 in the third has a good MED line that I used, and I'd play it or even the 2 (still a maiden) before I go for the favorite.

The 4 could turn out to be any kind, but it is still just a Maiden claimer graduate doing something for the first time.

Bill V. 02-27-2009 01:22 PM

seven looks like a good idea gone bad IF and that is a big IF the horse can reproduce speed from 503 days ago, then it might have a shot here.

Babies damaged on the way to graduation usually don't come back too readily but the odds are good 12/1 here. Never has had much support at the windows and seem again ambitiously placed

The 4 seems to have such an EP edge that I have to go with it.

JLG 02-27-2009 01:52 PM

yeah, was hoping the 4 would stay around 7/2.... but it just went to 8/5...

Can't hide SPEED ODDS say watch

HINT: IF you look at races by energy profiles and e/l give a 25-30% boost on upper range of normal (depending upon the course) to baby races. These guys are just learning how to run (the entire field) and closers are RARE on the dirt in these groups.

other than for three and half weeks in late December early January it has been that way for the last SEVEN YEARS

Wait until Wood Memorial day.!!!!! The track will be like concrete it will be rolled so much. More Bellamy Roads and Bob n' John's to come out to steal money from the public as the track will play so much into their prominence on the way to the big dance at CD.
