I noticed all the followup's and software is gone. could this "item" on Ebay be the reason?

" you will receive free of charge a website ,,,,,,,,," what a ****ing joke man. What's next? someone charging folks for YOUR website????

who posts here from Troy NY???

dugoutgold 07-15-2006 01:39 PM

Gee Rich how much should charge an hr too help the Ebayers with this!! I remember when someone was doing the same thingwith Guys stuff a few years ago. Told him what good is it if you dont know how to use it,Correctly I might add:p Now that we are in the consulting businness we can get Ted to write a program that automaticly charges the ERRRRR client!!

Non winner

I have a good Idea who this is

First I am very sorry that I had to pull EVERYTHING
off Bindfold except my videos which really are just my interpitation of the methodology

Everything is safe in the site data base and I have copies

This person may or may not have used me to sell Mr Sartins property
If thats what he did thats wrong

Look I have no problem people selling stuff on ebay if they or a relative
has no use for it If they sell programs
I feel very bad for Ted because he loses this money
but people can do what they want, with there own stuff
I pulled the stuff off Bindfold because this person May have been looking to sell our site and our workbooks and follow ups

This person needs a mirror and he needs to look at himself. He is a non winner
He went for the short term of selling instead of READING
He had access to $1000's of dollars worth of programs manuals and EVERY
FOLLOW UP plus the possible trust and friendship of the best users of this
methodology ANYWHERE including former PRICO charter memebers
He could have been a winner at the windows and been a much more
better person who believed in his ability to make money wher others could not

He decided he could not win or stopped trying or maybe he needed some dough for a bankroll, Thats sad. I made over $1000 betting $2.00
starting with a $20 bankroll and we all know my limitations with the
methodogy and handicapping other than best of the last 3 and wagercapping

Any way, Look I will beat these people. Some how It will come to me what to do, So that we can share this stuff amonst the true dedicated users
here .

That group is a very small percent of the over 200 Members we have
if thats what it needs to be than maybe Doc will guide me to follow him
and keep it small and for winners only

Everything is safe I will send you what you want to read
in the mean time
email me at Bindfold @ y + a - h * o = o . c o m

Thank you for your time

Followup's

This really is terrible I looked foward to reading the followup's
every day. This is like having something very valueble stolen.
I really never post here but this is one of the most informative
sites on the internet. To the person or persons who did this rot in hell!!!!
If we could set up a way to view followup's that would be great.
I don't know if a password site would even work.

RichieP 07-15-2006 02:49 PM

My suggestion:

make the followups and software available to " Pace & Cap Charter Members"
ONLY.

Fee to join - $ 150.00 - LESS than a 2 year cost of subscribing to the followup when it was out.

Give EVERYONE who has donated to you a 150 % credit from what they have given u already toward that number.

So if someone like Bob Cochran who has already donated
$ 100 bucks ( btw hasnt even posted yet cause he's busy) tap his donation up 50% to the $ 150.00 level.

Same thing with guys who have been supporters here Bill. Also consider tapping up guys who do work for you say in helping by sending followups to you etc etc.

These are the people who are WITH you. YOU know who they are. Forget all the PHONIES who talk a good game but do **** when it comes time to supporting you and/or your site Bill.

Time to realize that like it or not you must begin treating this site like a BUSINESS.

revamp the Members area with new password protection. put ALL followups, software, etc etc in THERE if you can.

Leave the "plain vanilla" stuff out here in the open for the general public.

Any product or website with the name Sartin attached IS going to be targeted for exploitation by folks ESPECIALLY when software and programmers are part of that site. Please consider what I posted Bill.

Horse racing is a BUSINESS.

Member stepping forward to help

we have a member here who emails me privately a lot. He is VERY sharp but likes to be under the radar. He works very effectively this way :D

He has just finished filing a complaint with Ebay and they have acknowledged him in a return email and are CLOSELY looking into the matter.

I have forwarded his emails and Ebay replies to Binder.

Thanks Jeff

reminds me of a funny line from Caddy Shack

"You know, you should play with Dr. Beeper and myself. I mean, he's been club champion for three years running and I'm no slouch myself. -Don't sell yourself short, judge. You're a tremendous slouch." - [Ted Knight and Chevy Chase]

Bill,Forget all this I would very much like to hear how you turned $20 bucks into a grand.Jeff

Jonathan Steele 07-16-2006 02:46 AM

Bill,

This is EXACTLY what I was afraid of and mentioned to you in a private message. This is a family-type forum so I will not say what I'd like to say about this 'type' of individual who is trying to profit from this FREE material!

All I ask is that the long-time members of this forum and before that your V/DC Yahoo! group, be able to still recieve the Follow Ups and any other Sartin material as it's made available.

Thanks.

Jon

Jeff its true
what happened was...
I think around the early spring of 2005 this happened

Because we all have personal problems. At this point in my life everything was not well in Binderdelphia, I put my personal money issues in order and paid off many loans and settled many debts I had been doing OK but I had been betting with scared money about this time I also started to have a dream of going off on my own and making my part time messenger service company full time To do this I needed capital and a good credit score
Anyway I really had very little money left to bet with I figured this would be a good time to get away from the methodology betting 2 horses
etc I knew I had no bankroll so I needed to bet very lightly

I had been working on a research project for myself
what I was doing was paper betting any horse that had two readouts
Top 2 Total Energy and Top 2 LPR . I had been watching many horses
that I had been betting get leads, than fade, I figured a strong total energy and LPR readout would lead me to horses that would have enough
energy to stay in the money. I thought these horses would be good horse to bet to show!!!! yes I was show betting .. I did very good on paper
so I started to bet these with money .I did very well. I started this
time with $30 (really it was $29 if you want to get technical)
I got up to $86 betting $3 to show on the horse in every race that was top
2 TE and ranked 1 or 2 LPR . I was working with a friend of mine who is very sharp with betting methods and money management .
Trouble followed, As usual with these methods things were good but
once I hit $89 things changed. I started to pass races. Make decisions
that were wrong A typical example was many of these horses that were top 2 TE and LPR were low prices favorites I was rooting for many horse that were paying me $2.40 to show If the horse was a price it was fun to see them with that late energy hold on or come on late but the favorites were killing me. I learned something from this, that these low favorite place and show ok but they also run off the board more than I ever thought The thing that killed me was when my horse was a price
but there was 3/5 type favorite in a short field -Philly Park_]
I would pass the race figuring really the favorite will win or place and all I will get is $2.10 Things feel apart It was a free fall loss
I watched my top 3 VDC horses win at great prices and my low price show bets win and pay $2.60 I said screw this ....
I cashed out at about $40 bucks went to the food store brought a artichoke and put the rest in my pocket ..
I learned from this show bet experiment That I should just get back to basic methodology and HIDE the favorite !!!!!! once again I started wit $20
made $2 win bets on two horses I bet the horse in my top 3 VDC that would pay over 5/2 and for a second win bet I bet the best odds
I hid the favorite I just got on a roll no pressure all I was going to lose was $20 worst case scenario .. I had just lost $40 and all I needed was a horse to SHOW so watching two horses was much better the payoffs like $30
were a whole lot better than $2.80
I just got on a great roll , My friend the betting method master
told me to set goals and up my bet each time I hit that goal
when I hit $40 I went to $3.00 whebn I hit $60= $5.00
steps like that things just worked in no time I was at like $250
I started to bet rolling doubles at Delaware and once in awhile a pick 3
I bet small never more than $ 6 but I also always bet two horses to win
This method grew and grew I remember hitting a $71 winner at Arlington
when I was betting a very high point on my goal step
I hit a few $100= doubles because now I was betting $2 doubles
and pick 3's When I hit $1000 I made a mistake
I cashed out and made two jeep payments ,Paid my insurance bill
and when food shopping LOL!! This wiped out my bankroll but I learned plenty and had a great time Now I just don't have the time because of work when I go I bet $10 percent of my bank roll split between 2 horses
win betting only and I also will 3 horse box exactas
since I have Val 2006 and Spec 160 with these programs I notice many more exactas in my to 3 than ever before
That it I turned $20 into $1000 because I saw for myself the value in a positive attitude toward the basic methodology and getting on a roll
having fun and betting confidently

shoeless 07-16-2006 09:47 AM

Bill,All I have to say is GREAT POST,I wish more people here would share their stories of ups and downs.Im finding that Im doing better with the turf races than dirt.I guess it's because I feel I have more confidence on the turf and that my paceline picking is better.I was all paper, pencil and the form for the last 30 odd years but was never consistant that's why I turned to a computer program.Im still far from being consistant even to the point where I get so frustrated that I feel like walking away from it.But thanks to great friends like yourself and others here I hope SOMEDAY to be a consistant winner.Which is the name of the game.Jeff

Just for the record, I have no financial or proprietary interest in any racing-related software other than Speculator and RDSS, so if someone is reselling their own Sartin software licences, or others' or multiple copies of software they either do or don't own, I don't lose anything. I checked the eBay item and did not notice Speculator among the goods (though as Doug mentions, we did help bust someone doing this to Guy on eBay last year).

None-the-less, I think it's just hurtful to Bill's hard work and disrespectful in general (what to speak of bad karma) to attempt to profit by selling what is offered here in a spirit of generosity - but it happens. I know the Follow Up scanning project is continuing and all will be made available, one way or the other.

Perhaps the eBay bidders could be contacted somehow and invited to check out this site! (I'm not an eBay expert...)

Typical Behavior for Losers

I suppose this is one way to make money with the Sartin Methodology. Obviously the person involved couldn't pick a winner betting 2 horses to win in a 3 horse race. I am usually a soft spoken person, but in this case the person involved ruined a good thing for many of the REAL contributing members.

Not so much the programs, but having older issues of the Follow-Up was very helpful for people who did not have them. I cannot blame Bill in the least for pulling the plug until a better way is found. For myself I will stop honoring requests for programs and help from people I am not familiar with.
