Close but no cigar for Mick. 5 broke slowly and was never a factor. 2 caught 7 and 1 late. Gandalf was sitting next to me and had the 2 to win. The wizard of Saratoga strikes again!

Had a delightful weekend in Toronto. Woodbine is a beautiful track and I had the privilege of spending time with some excellent players who also happen to be great people. Thank you Ted, Barb, Charlie, Missy and Mike. (Missy and Charlie deserve extra thanks for hauling me around for two days.) And Tim, thank you for the tour of the press box and the camera room that's high, high above the finish line. I even got to see the photo of the finish where my horse lost by a lip. (The chart caller may say it was a by a nose, but it was a lip!)

A special trip - I'll be smiling about it for weeks. :D
