Gary,I see what you mean,I was listening to an old seminar tape and Doc was pounding home the fact to look at your fractional readouts.I guess I got carried away with it.Anyway here are the other screen shots of that race and my mistake it was 7 fur.Maybe you and Houndog could tell me how you would go about determing who to bet.Jeff

maybe you can all analyze this screen. the distance of the race is one mile and seventy yards. all pacelines are from this distance
|
OK I would go with the 3 owns both the 1st and 2nd fraction and doesnt drop off all that bad in the 3rd.
|
#7BUD would be my selection baes upon his pressing style in the readout.
Dap |
Dap,7 doesnt look like it beat's the 4 in any of those fractions.Jeff

Jeff:
It is not a matter of the seven beating the four onany of the running lines. In my opinion that is where you are confusing the readouts of the program. The F2 and F3 collonaries is telling me that Bud's 50.37 FPS is over powering #4 Run's FPS of 48.80. #7's final F3 of 47.93 is way much higher than #3 F3 of 40.97 The no. 4 horse with that type of finish number had to have been vanned off the track. That number shows the horse may have lost a leg and is running only on three! I am lost on this one as I am not sure where this race was run so anything can happen. But Jeff you are mis-interpetating the FPS numbers. Dap. |
Dap,I meant to say the 3 not the 4 who has a higher F3 than the 7.I guess it doesnt matter anyhow we dont know who won the race.Jeff

The winner was Carson Unleashed ($15.40) 5th race 7furlongs on 4/23 Tampa Bay Downs. The number 1 horse reared at the start and was declared a non-starter. #2 ran second and the #7 finished 3rd.
Good Luck to All |
