I admire Ted for expanding the offerings of 1980-2001. Doc was always evolving his software and Ted is doing the same thing. I see that as a positive with each person using what they are comfortable with. On another note Bill, I have found your teachings to be invaluable and I hope your health is doing great. Let it Ride! Oh and let us not forget about Improved and Declined which confused me as I thought this was some how incorported into NP, but then if I did not have so much stuff thrown at me over and over, how can I keep up with all the names, that does not happen here, and I am glad for this, updates and such are always included , as they should be, my opinion. Sorry Jim, Bill, Dave and anyone who thinks this is anything more than my voicing my opinion in this issue, which I can and will always do, okay. Patrick |

You are correct, what I should have wrote was "doomed" in my mind. I am not talking for anybody else. I say that was how my feelings were effected. So I should have said "this doomed NP for me" I apologize Thanks again Feeling much better Bill |

Hey Bill, we are lacking in phraseology, mine it should have read as: We all talking about it, use it, and SOME are dissatisfy with it. |
I use New pace in conjunction with RDSS and I can say that I find that the New Pace Early Dominant horse about 56% and higher is very accurate. Anyone who has New Pace can verify this feature by going over their past races (I can post plenty of examples if anyone is interested). I rely primarily on RDSS and I agree that using the entire horse's PP wihout regard for recency or comparable distance / surface is contradictory to the Sartin Methodology....But using the Early Dominance horse primarily in sprints has helped my bottom line.

Non-correlated?

I'm kind of surprised by what you say here, because this is just the kind of thing I was looking for in NP and never found. As we know th E1 horse, the one you are talking about does hits at a slightly higher rate than the other three contenders, about 23%, but let's also remember that 97% of all NP winners are correlated with Sartin (RDSS) horses, so this horse is almost invariably either TE - 1,2 or BL/BL 1,2, which have higher win probability. What you seem to be saying is that the E1 horse with >56% Early Accum. has a higher hit-rate than 23%, and is also possibly non-correlated with RDSS. If so, that would be a big discovery. I appreciate your idea of providing examples, but as I've said, a handful of examples can't prove anything in the context of gambling due to variance. Unless you have a large sample (+200 or so) of races on record, maybe we might ask someone like Rich, who has a large sample of NP stats along with his RDSS stats, if he would be willing to check through all the E1 winners with >56% E. Accum. and see what the ROI is, in the same way that he found a flat-bet ROI profit of 1.20 for VDC #1. Or, if I can cut out the time, I'll go through the races Mike has posted, and do the same thing. BTW, if I'm misunderstanding anything you wrote, please let me know. Cheers, B Jennet |

Actually there may be some misunderstanding because I use the Early Dominant horse (I recall a few times it is also E2) not just for win but also for exactas. The Early Dominant horse can easily fade during the stretch run but can still manage to hit the board. I have been having some success with this but I can't say what the percent win is of the Early Dominant horse. I have my own database of races, over 1,000 but I only compiled stats on a small sample ...so I can't prove I am in the big discovery zone. Ernie |

To me this does not say much for this vendor as a business man or as person. Thank God I never had dealings with this man. Oh well, on to the next victim. This guy comes out with more products then Carter has liver pills. As PT Barnum aptly stated, "There's A Sucker Born Every Day". I am vigorously opposed to this type of person and make no bones about it. |
Well, you guys win. Obviously this board is a hostile environment for me. I shall stay away from this point forward.

Dave...
Don't take it personal... Take a look at the Poll I put up 2 weeks ago...... It will tell you the kind of people your dealing with here Take a look at Ted..he's enhanced RDSS with each phase and hasn't asked for anything... Look at the Library here....its loaded with priceless info and years of top notch handicapping treasures....and its FREE to all So when someone comes in with a business attitude in mind , they can expect to be treated like you were... |
