Doc always said that V/DC should be looked at as TIERS and NOT rankings, making it easier mentally to go a bit deeper in the contender mix to find value. I bet this way for years at the Meadowlands and survived solely on racing income til about 2006 when I moved home to care for mom. In MY opinion racing has changed big time and I honestly don't know if I could be a winning player TODAY. I certainly don't "want it" bad enough to even try with my life being so different (good) now. Winning consistently takes extremely hard WORK and dedication as I am sure you know. Outside of a bets up at Saratoga that day Karen and I went there to meet everyone I have not made a bet in over a year. Test this and see if the "look" helps you man! Very best to you Ernie |

Well that was 5 races with 2 definite winners paying $19.00 and $7.40. 40% wins betting 2 horses with an outlay of $20.00 and a return of $26.40. When I was playing full time at the track wanna guess what my TWO horse win % was for YEARS? Yup 40%(Bill V saw dozens of my 20 race cycle worksheets back then) :) Wagercapping |

That's right I remember reading in the "Follow-Up" to look at V/DC as TIERS. Did I follow his advice...........NOOOOOO. Racing may have changed but the Methodology is alive and well today and there is no doubt in my mind that if you choose to get back into the game you will DEFINITLY be a winning player. I have no problem altering my approach, trying new ideas, using new tools... whatever gets the best results. Wishing you the Best of Everything. Ernie |
