    Bill,
I posted to that thread for Jeebs. In a response to a post I made about that TAM which the thread was entitled and you moved this from he appeared to me to be struggling with his approach. So this was really not for general consumption. I wouldn't be so presumptive as to suggest anyone else should use my methods. by singling it out in its own thread it makes me look like an ass. I would appreciate it if you put it back where it was. Jeebs can find it and use it if he likes but I don't want the membership thinking I am trying to give instruction. There are probably much better handicappers than me reading this stuff! Thanks

    Hi Bill,

Is Ted back at work yet? I sent him the following message sometime ago and haven't had a reply so I assume he isn't back. Perhaps you can help. Here's what I sent to Ted.

    Hi Ted,

This isn't an emergency, but I'm wondering if you are having queries about RDSS2 crashing on Windows 10? Here's the message I get:

    rdss2.exe has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a
    solution is available.

No such solution is ever available so you just have to reboot and try it again.

I have tried to run it in compatibility modes using both visa and windows 7 settings and nothing seems to work as a permanent solution.
I checked on pace and cap without success.

The program always worked with my windows vista and windows 7 computers and it worked for a long time on this windows 10 machine.

Any ideas? It usually happens 4-5 times per day and I have to shut it down and start over.
    _______________

Do you have any experience with this problem or know how I might fix it? Many thanks in advance for any help you can give. best wishes --chuck

I'm only giving my take on the Preakness to those who posted replies to my Derby take.
Everybody sees the same #'s,everybody interprets them differently. If your looking for a fast track-bet Santa Anita. They're expecting 1-2 inches of rain saturday right up to 4 or 5 pm in Baltimore. Horses that won exclusively on a sloppy track are the 1-2-5 and 9 horses.A good friend of mine always said that an off track is the "great equalizer".
Thorograph says that Niquist ran his best race ever in the derby and should bounce(0). His 3 races this year were a 3-4-0, besides you'll never get rich betting even money or odds on horses. The 7 horse to me is also interesting. I've always liked to bet horses that can go wire to wire on the grass in the slop. His 1st start on grass he won basically w-w;moved up to a mile on grass and was forwardly placed missing by 1-1/4 lengths;won at sunland park and to show that was no fluke he came back to win at keenland by 4 lengths and in both dirt races was forwardly placed. So i'm adding #7 to the mix with the 1-2-5- and 9,as horses to use in my exotics. Now the 2 and 11 are both lightly raced and are on the improve off their last race and the 11 showed he could win on a"good"wet track. So he's in my mix too.
So who do i key on? Well the #9 won his last six races in a row(undefeated in 2016) and is out of a dynaformer mare. Dynaformer offspring love wet tracks. #2 ran against #5 and came back and won off that race. The #'s 7 & 11 never faced this level of competition before and so i'm boxing the 2-5-9 and keying them over the 1- 3-7-11 in my exotics. WIN Bets on the 2 and 9- i'm expecting no value on the 5 to win. Good luck and don't forget your umbrellas!! Later, Omar( the "O" man).
P.S. I've been wrong before. I just hope this isn't one of those times!

Hi Bill hope all is well with you. First thanks for starting the new thread on TPR. I'm sending this because I didn't want to do it on the thread where it might be mistaken for starting a pissing match. In regards to that 10f turf race at SA I noticied that on both the winner and place horse use used 8f turf lines which really aren't comparable to 10f and go against the Docs guideline of no more than 1f and also his missive about projecting not being that reliable. Maybe you could clear that up so as not to confuse our newer members. As far as horses not showing activity I keep records of trainers at all the tracks I play whose horses do win without showing a race or workout in the last 15-20 days. Parx has numerous trainers fitting that bill so Docs missive of knowing your track comes into play. Anyway wishing you all the best.

Reading the thread about entropy and place horses where you said the new Entropy program is for sale, that was many years ago, is it still available and if so how much.
