    First, thank you.
    Your close. F2 is the second fraction, not the second call. The second fraction is between F1 and F2. As an example, F1 is run in 22.2 and F2 is run in 23.3, therefore the second call would be 46.0. So, it is the second call that is 4 furlongs after the start of the race. It is also the call at the top of the stretch. Hope this clears things up for you.

    I have been enjoying reading your post, very informative. I am always looking to improve my skills. Being new to RDSS, I have been reading the many post on the site, however found yours very easy to grasp. I cannot find clear understanding of (SC) second call. At which point of the race is second call recorded? let assume we are looking at 6 furlong race. F2 is the 4 furlong.
